How it started
Remember the special characters in Microsoft Word? That’s when I fell in love with the design!
Back in the early 2000s, It was common to own a desktop computer without an internet connexion. And Video Games and multimedia were not as popular as today. Only the Words, PowerPoint, and excel were already popular but those, they are boring for a 10yrs old kid.
The discovery of Special Characters was just amazing and It opened another world to me. I would write people’s names, print and gift them the print. Going into secondary school, I started combining letters and illustrations to make handmade posters. I later moved to make posters with photoshop.
As days pass, I was loving design and computers. But something was infringing my mind: How does the computer work? The magic behind me typing the keyboard and screen showing beautiful characters?
The love for codes was born. I started learning programming through books and YouTube and later joined the computer engineering school.
The professional Journey
My professional journey started in Uganda while at university. I primarily started with logo and print design. I was making all kinds of branding and Print materials (logos, Business cards, posters, T-shirts, and Banners) for schools, events, restaurants, and bars.
As I evolved, I got involved in website design and development. I became a one-stop design provider for new businesses as I was able to provide branding and website development services. Adding UI/UX design skills was a great milestone as I wanted to be able to offer branding, website, and digital product design full package to businesses.
For every design I made, I always aimed for a better visual appearance. However good it sounds, a good-looking design without a purpose doesn’t serve at anything. A good design must serve a business goal and solve a problem. Thanks to the Engineering school and its problem-solving lessons.
I now design good-looking logos, websites, or packages that actually attract and answer your customer needs.
I have so far worked and volunteered with clients based in East Africa, Europe, and North America. Naming a few are: In Her Presence, Nabira Cosmetics, Bunaco, Mabuja Labs, Moyista, and so on

Artificial Intelligence
I am an enthusiast of Artificial Intelligence with accrued interests in Machine Learning, Data science, and Natural Language Processing. It is a new field but very interesting. Only YouTube knows how much AI content I watch.
Basketball
The only Sport that wakes me up at 4 am.
When I am not working, I either play or watch Basketball.
My favorite Player and team are Lebron James and the Lakers.
